A Resource Type  has been added to Resources Table in order to categorise them for reporting purpose on the Dashboard.

There are six Resource Types, these are:-

1. Labour
2. Plant
3. Materials
4. Staff
5. Financial
6. Other

Resource Types of 'Labour', 'Plant' and 'Staff' are given a Resource Unit of 'Time'. This is then automatically converted to the Time Units of the project on reports. An alternative Resource Unit can be set if desired.

A Resource Type of 'Financial' is given a Resource Unit of 'Money'. This is then automatically converted to the Currency Name on reports. An alternative Resource Unit can be set if desired.

The Currency Name is set when a New Project is created or defaults to 'GB£'. This can be changed at any time by selecting 'Change Currency' from the 'Settings' menu. An Exchange Rate can also be set using this utility which will apply the multiplication factor to all Resources with a Resource Unit set to 'Money' and a Resource Type of 'Financial'.
